Youth

One more LDS homeschooled youth conference is in the books. Mike with the help of his co-leader Taylor, put on one heck of a conference. This year's theme was "Minute to Win It." They had activities based off the TV show and two wonderful speakers that focused on how the little things in our life matter and sometimes it is the Minutes that Win It!

For their service project this year they helped get the pieces ready for some of the crafts at this year's Cub Camp. They cut yarn, netting, pipe cleaners, wire, glue sticks and felt. Great time to serve and chat.

It was great again to rub shoulders with some great youth and their families at the dance and the dinner held every year after the conference.

Just stuff

June was spent just doing stuff.  While waiting for the weather to warm up (which it hasn't done) we just did stuff.

The kids finished up the school year.
Seminary ended so we could sleep in until 7.
Doreen and Steve did an adult Pinewood Derby.
Jason started working almost full time at Toyota of Kirkland washing cars, (he got the job at Christmas time).
Kray continued working at Garlic Jim's while preparing to leave for Hawaii.
Doreen spoke at WHO again.
Jessie attended a ice skating camp.
Mike took Driver's Ed.
Matt started working on his Eagle Project.
The kids played with Roxy and Alex a lot.

We survived Junmember (boy it was a cold  and wet spring)!
