Homecoming

Mike went to "homecoming" this year. He and his date don't go to the local high school so they went to a private "homecoming" dance held at one of our local churches by a bunch of other teens who are fed up with the high school's homeschooling dances.

He got creative and put posters up in her house asking her to the dance. Each poster was a line of a poem he made up. We were all relieved when she replied, "Yes."

He and his good friend Brandon double dated.  I only have room to share a few of the wonderful photos they had taken.

Another Beautiful Day in Seattle

It isn't often that October in Seattle is beautiful but we seemed to pick the right weekend for a trip to the Science Center.

Matt loved trying to solve the giant Rubik's Cube. Jessie tried desperately to get a butterfly to land on her. (It would only land on mom & dad.)

All the names and faces are real.  All the facts are real unless we embellished them to make ourselves look good.  Just the adjectives and adverbs are made up.  If anything resembles sanity......that was made up, too.
