ONE YEAR August 5, marked
one year of remission for Doreen. She didn't do anything
grand to celebrate that day except to go camping with her boys
and Jessie at the ward campout.
Steve, Kray and Jason stayed home as they had to work, but
the rest went and had a blast! Doreen quietly marked it in her
heart. One year extra of life and here's hoping there are many,
many more.
HAWAI'I
Kray is packing his room and getting ready to fly off to Hawaii
as he finishes his college career. He will transfer as a
junior and major in Hotel and Travel (or something like that).
Steve will be taking him the first week of September and Doreen
will try hard not to cry. Mike will rejoice as he gets to
come out of his bedroom/closet and have a real bedroom. He will
be sharing a room with Jason.
Kray will have a wonderful time in Laie and we hope he studies
hard while on the beach.

Busy, Busy, Busy
So much happened and yet nothing of great importance happened
either.
Kray continued to work and pack for college.
Jason worked and worked and worked.
Mike read and read and read, while praying someone would call
him about a job.
Matt just played and worked hard getting his Eagle project
approved. (WHEW!) He also celebrated a birthday: 14th!
Chris went to swimming lessons, worked on merit badges and
played a lot!
Jessie went to swimming lessons and hung out with her friends.
She celebrated her 11th birthday!
Steve released Doreen's Coaches App and updated versions of his
other games. He always continues to work hard at his Real
job.
Doreen was chief driver for all this fun and actually got to
spend a short weekend in Utah with her Heritage Makers friends.
They got their family photos taken and they look great! Not
telling which one makes the Christmas cards, just hope you are
on the Christmas card list.
Children's Safety Fair
For Matt's Eagle project he will be putting together a
Children's Safety Fair. He has asked the police and the firemen
to come and speak. He will also offer ID kits to the kids.
It will be held September 3 from 9 to noon at our church
building.
He has put in so much hard work and it is paying off.
Every day he exclaims how excited he is for the project.
